As a new media performance artist, Byungjun Kwon explores sound through 3D audio recordings that he integrates into exhibition spaces that combine music, theatre and visual arts. Recently, he looked at the place of robots, both companions and marginal figures, in human society. He won the 2023 Korean Artist's Award. His works question the relationship between man and machine, upsetting industrial conventions. The exhibition presents a condensed version of his award-winning creations.
